Welcome back, bro! Tank is looking good for a fish only system. Do the emperor nips at corals? Please show us the upstairs tanks!
I have not seen the Emperor nip, but he might. Both tanks look "fine", which is a far cry from where they were.
Bro looks like you have nitrate issues. Water change how often?
Nitrate tests at under 10 (2.1 on most recent) on Hanna Checker
Hahaha poor design"? Guess you could built one better😂😂😂😂😂 and youre a short person thats why the height of cabinets are made for taller people
What’s the interior height?
Are you carrying traditional bikes or e-bikes I’m asking based on weight we are looking for one for our e-bikes
Just traditional bikes. I don't know what the weight limit is on the bike rack.
What is great about this is that a family is getting out and spending quality time together! Nothing is more inspiring than families being together, enjoying each other, finding love and relationship in the midst of the everyday things of life. If you can combine that and have a truck and RV where you go places and spend time outdoors and spend time driving, talking, seeing the sites, then it doesn’t get much better than that. I like this camper trailer. That’s the size I like and need. For a family of 4 I think it is perfect.
Great video!
Thank you for answering the big questions! Does the shimmer still show with t5ho supplement!
Thanks for the great video content. Wishing you and the family much joy camping. :)
So my dad owns this trailer ima tell our camper folds out for room
Where is the inverter housed?
Under the Murphy bed
@@terranncegilmore thanks but that’s insane. Magnetic radiation from an inverter is very high. I’d recommend repositioning it to outside and housed in a nickel plated box…or at least the latter. I would consider this trailer or the 16.1 but not if the inverter is sitting under the bed
Can you provide more info on what part is needed for fan if I don’t have an old camper to take one off of? Also specifically what hanging organizer did you order? Thank you!
This is the fav cover: MAXXAIR 00-955002 Black Fanmate Fan/ Vent Cover with Ez Clip Installation Hardware a.co/d/0RKnDkh The hanging organizers were from IKEA, but similar to these: GRANNY SAYS 3-Shelf Hanging Closet Organizer and Storage, Collapsible Hanging Closet Shelves, Hanging Organizer for Closet & RV, Gray, 29 ¾" H X 12" W X 12" D, 1-Pack a.co/d/hLCziAj
Thank you. I pick one up soon, and just saw your video after I ordered, very helpful to see what I can go ahead and be prepped to do.
You really fit great in colorado woth two kids in back?
Let’s do another video love this
I thought the converter on our 20.3 said it was auto detecting for lithium. Did yours not say that?
It is, but there is a process to get it to switch over. I found a video that I cannot seem to locate now.
Coming from someone who does public speaking and hates it, your video is fine. Really great content helped me out alot. Keep making videos my dude.
Great vid! Our 19BH just got totaled out because of hail. We also have a family of five and were definitely outgrowing it, so the replacement will either be the R-Pod 203 or the NoBo 20.3. I know you liked that front window on the R-Pod. What made you ultimately choose the NoBo?
We were really very torn. The dealership had both on the lot, and we walked back and forth between the two for at least an hour. There are a few differences between the two. 1. The R-Pod is like 8" narrower or so. 2. The front window I mentioned. 3. The cabinet color and finishes. 4. Refrigerator is smaller in the R-Pod 5. No curtains on the bunks We were worried that we were upgrading, and could end up wishing we had just gone with the bigger camper. The R-Pod is still at the dealership and is clearance priced. We've joked that we'd trade the NoBo for the R-Pod, it really was that close of a call between the two. The NoBo has a bit more of an "Offroad" vibe, whereas the R-Pod has more of a "Fancy" vibe.
@@terranncegilmore Thanks for the info! I thought the TV placement in the R-Pod was a little weird too. Hopefully we’ll be able to tour both units at the upcoming RV show this month.
Fire the camera guy.😅
how do you get it to run a lunar cycle after the lighting schedule? will that promote more algae growth?
Do you remember what your hitch weight typically is when loaded?
Don't know
Very nice unit! It is extremely similar to our Surveyor
It's interesting the little differences. I addressed most of my complaints in the video. After a few months of ownership and a few trips, we couldn't be happier with it.
Good video 👍 you got your money's worth out of that E-Pro! 😆
We loved it. With the family growing we wanted something bigger. But the E-Pro was great
You took the bike rack off, the camera, a few goodies. Smart 👍
Thanks for the review.
Great idea on the ammo can sewer stuff box!
I live in the south and my NOBO was just too poorly insulated so we couldn’t keep it cool enough. Had to sell it but I did love the suspension.
We're in Western NY, so far the heat hasn't been an issue. We're planning out the first weekend of November, so we'll see how it does in the cold.
We just bought the 2023 20.4 and was hoping to cold weather camp on our property in the mountains of NC. It does get windy and cold. We just left and are heading back for a week in November. Forest river said not to under 32 degrees which is concerning.
Forgot to add we are pretty rural and gravel off roads were a little rough. The Curt suspension is definitely not a gimmick nothing moved inside and towed great. I am towing with a 2020 F250 7.3 liter and was not happy going from 17mpg down to 7mpg in the hills and mountains then getting around 8.5mpg
What camper did you find that was better insulated?
Thx congrats on killing the bryopsis I've been battling it for a year😢
Nice trailer. 😊
Thanks for doing this review. I have been looking at this unit. I love the suspension and the options you get. I have a couple of questions. I have a escalade with the 6.2. Just wondering if you are still getting squat with the WHD or any towing upgrades to the suburban? I do you take all the blocks with you when you camp or is that just your set up at home? Also do you have any thoughts on the roof racks? I was wondering if a roof rack tent would be optional on this thing just for when my boys want to be adventurous.
Thanks for the comment. My Suburban is the 6.2, I get around 10-ish MPGs towing. The truck has air suspension, which kicks on when it senses a load. So between that and the WDH, there is basically no squat. The back end drops less than a half inch. I have Lynx Levelers that stay in the camper for the support jacks. I cannot speak to a roof mounted tent. It is already pretty high up.
@@terranncegilmore Thanks! The caddy has the air leveling system, so we are basically on the same platform, minus I would rather have your tranny. Looking at how the rack tracks are installed, would you feel confident even using them for anything or would that worry you about issues later? I have reservations about TT roofs and not messing with them much.
@@worldwidewebbs8420 I wouldn't add any height to the trailer. I already worry about going under bridges and such
Thanks for the review. I found these models recently and was drawn in by the upgraded suspension. I’m hoping it’ll be a good fit for my future Alaska trip.
We still really like it. We've now taken a handful of shorter and longer trips. I tried to be very fair in my review. There are things we didn't love. But a lot of it was easily fixable.
Thanks for review. We just got ours and definitely need to swap out the usb outlets. Do you have the model that you purchased?
I actually don't like the ones I bought. They have a really bright blue LED that I had to cover with black nail polish
Thanks for the video, I caught your post on the nobo Facebook page. Also, it's tuff to find videos about these trailers so I certainly appreciate it.
can you um, not say "um" 457 times in your um video???? its ok to pause dont say um!!!!
Cool comment.
UMMMMMMM
I didn't even notice so I guess it's just sensitives haters that do
you are right. annoying
Could you please not be a Karen about the um. It’s a petty thing.
I appreciate the review. We’re looking at getting one.
I have been looking at this No Bo 20.3, thanks for the review. How good does the standard solar work regarding recharging the batteries? Would the Un-Plugged Package be a good accessory? Safe travels.
We haven't gotten into a situation where I can speak on it. With 200 AH, we have enough battery to go days if necessary just running the fridge and a few lights. The unplugged package felt like a huge up charge.
Good choice of vehicle for safety.
Love the rock structure. What is your lighting schedule on the 180 with the kessils, T5s?
T5s run from 12-4. Kessils ramp up from 5 am- 11pm, but really only high from 10-4
Can a 2018 Honda Pilot Touring AWD tow this camper safely? I’m torn between this model and the E19BH. I like that this model has more room due to the slide. I also like the Rockwood Geo Pro but then I noticed that they are the same. Have you looked into the R-Pod 193?
I personally would not tow this with anything less than a vehicle with like 7,000# towing capacity. I towed it with a Chevy Colorado (7,700#s) and it did OK. My wife's VW Atlas (5,000#s) not so much.
Can you please do another video now after you have used your new camper? Thanks- wondering how it worked on your trips went!!
Thanks for the review. I must ask, why do you not think it is “fair” to call out manufacturers for their low quality “cardboard” products? Personally, I believe honest and direct reviews are exactly what the consumers and manufacturers need to hear. It is best for everyone as critical reviews push manufacturers to do better or else risk extinction. Just my two cents. Thanks again!
Really nice. Also prefer the oven to the cabinet. I'm not a family of four so I might opt for a model with no bunks and a bigger bathroom.
can you repeat/explain what you inserted thru the holes in the side of the fixture? i'd like to do this with my ATI 6-bulb fixture and maybe remove 2 T5 bulbs and put the kessil's there?
What fixture is that, Terry?
An old MH/T5 hybrid that I ripped the T5 components out of
@@terranncegilmore looks fantastic!!! i'm trying to figure out how to put two kessils in my 6-bulb ATI T5. But i'm afraid to drill a hole thru the top of it! i am trying to figure out a bracket/idea i could use to angle my Kessil 360s from the front side of the ATI silver fixture. like maybe get a piece of alluminum and drill into the front of the fixture and bend it down a bit and attach the 360s. if you have any engineering thoughts let me know!!! =)
@@lisademayo8589 I once modded an 8 bulb T5 fixture for Radions by removing the inner bulbs. Maybe remove the inner two bulbs and hand the Kessils in between
@@terranncegilmore Hmm. Do you happen to remember on the ATI, if one bulb is removed, the other bulb in the channels wont work? Is it like a circuit? I cant remember and i can't reach my bulbs without a stepstool. lol
@@lisademayo8589 Yes, but I don't remember which bulbs
Looking at a 2018 Flagstaff 19fds e pro trailer
Love it!! you even added a play land for children.
How much is this? I'm interested in a Jayco Feather BH but this one looks awesome
Can 2022 explorer tow this camper safely? I have ST-Line 4dr SUV (2.3L 4cyl 10A) the spec. Indicate that it can tow up to 5300 lbs. How's your E-Pro E20BHS holding up? I was very close to getting a Palomino Revolve EV3 until I saw your video. I think the quality of the Palomino Revolve EV3 is not there compared to E-Pro E20BHS. I am still deciding on which one to get.
I cannot speak to the towing on your Explorer. I was towing this with a 2021 Chevy Colorado, with a listed towing capacity of 7,700. We just had a baby and upgraded to a 2019 Chevy Suburban that tows 8,300, so capacity is no issue for us. The Colorado towed it fine, with a weight distribution hitch. The Suburban tows it like it's not there. As far as the camper itself, it is still like brand new. We've taken a few long trips, from WNY to Michigan, SC, NC etc. We continue to LOVE it.
I love these trailers which are exactly the same as Rockwood Geo Pro. You get azdel inside and out instead of luan wood so no delamination. All vacuum bonding with welded aluminum (both sidewalls, rear wall, front wall behind the real fiberglass cap and even the roof which is why it feels so sturdy up there). The floor in recent model years was even changed to 5/8" tongue and groove plywood just like a 5th wheel. You get full sized MAXX Air fans in these WITH rain covers! Notice that even the dinette is made from welded aluminum! You get two propane bottles instead of one. The axle on these units is not leaf spring, but rather a torsion axle like you see on Airstreams. IMO a much better axle. I much prefer the 12 volt fridge in these because it gets cold fast, freezes ice cream hard, does not care what the outside temp is, and actually keeps your food always cold like your home fridge. They use so little electricity after they are cooled down. IF you ever decide to go a little bigger, I strongly urge you to look at the Rockwood Mini Lites because they are built the same way, but in them you also get solid surface counter tops and solid wood cabinets along with twin 60 pound propane bottles. No, I don't sell these nor work in the industry. I'm just a guy who hates buying junk and worked my tail off to find a quality trailer.
I agree with everything you said here. We still absolutely love the camper. I've looked at the Mini Lite 2509s, which we really like, the only issue is, we don't need/want the Murphy bed. I don't know if there is an option to go with a traditional bed with storage underneath
@@terranncegilmore Yes....with you needing bunks in a small trailer, it does limit the floorplans. The 2509S you mention does give up the full width pass through because of the Murphy Bed design they went with (they know most people hate "bendy beds" where the mattress folds, so their Murphy Bed does not fold the mattress). Check out the video I'll link below. Josh is outstanding at pointing out whats great and what sucks about every trailer. The 2509S does have some very interesting exterior storage (plus under the Murphy Bed's couch) that helps make up for not having the typical front pass through. Take a look at the video....Also, search his channel for his "walk through" of your trailer, I'm sure he will point out some things you were unaware of. I'm really glad you still like your trailer so much. Tells me my research is spot on about these being so well done! ua-cam.com/video/SmzR_RxPSmQ/v-deo.html
@@terranncegilmore We decided against a Murphy bed trailer too. We knew after the honeymoon period the pulling down and folding up to get a sofa would get annoying. In some trailers the slide can't go out if the bed isn't in the correct position. We prob would have ended up leaving it down a lot and being annoyed. We like a larger BR and cabinets even though there's no pantry. There is sone storage under the bed, and if people want to hassle it, they can remove the tops of the bedside "tables" and put in a protective panel and have more storage. Kind of tempting actually. lol ours is an FBS
What light are you running
Excellent choice. How is it treating you a year later? I pick one up in 2 weeks.
We absolutely love it.
